Schönherr – Competition Law Associate/Attorney

Schönherr Attorneys at Law (www.schoenherr.eu) is a leading European law firm offering legal advisory services in 15 countries in Central and Eastern Europe. We are seeking a talented and motivated Competition Law Associate/Attorney to join our team, working on high-profile, complex, cross-border cases across Central and Eastern Europe, alongside more than 450 lawyers in 16 offices, in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Advising clients on antitrust and merger control, foreign direct investment reviews, state aid and unfair trading practices
• Representing clients before national and EU competition authorities
• Conducting competition law due diligence and compliance reviews
• Drafting legal documents, including notifications, submissions and legal opinions
• Working closely with a team of experienced attorneys across jurisdictions

We expect: 

• Law degree and admission to the Czech bar (associate / attorney)
• High level of legal qualifications
• Relevant experience in competition law
• Strong analytical and drafting skills
• Ability to work independently and as a part of our team
• Fluency in Czech and English
• Experience in an international law firm preferred
